Role Description This is a part-time school hours, on-site Office Administrator role based in Mount Gambier, SA. The Office Administrator will handle day-to-day administrative tasks such as managing correspondence, filing, data entry, and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities include answering phone and email inquiries, greeting visitors, coordinating appointments, and providing general support to team members. The role involves using office equipment and basic software to produce and update documents, invoices, and reports. The Office Administrator will also assist with customer enquiries about orders and services, help coordinate logistics with the quarry and transport providers, and support the smooth running of the office.
Qualifications
- Strong Office Administration and Administrative Assistance skills, including organizing workflows and maintaining accurate records.
- Proficient use of Office Equipment and basic computer applications (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheets).
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with internal teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
- Proven Customer Service experience, with a professional and helpful approach to enquiries and issue resolution.
- High attention to detail, strong time management, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
- Ability to work independently on-site as well as collaboratively within a small team.
- Previous experience in an office or administrative role, ideally within construction, manufacturing, or related industries, is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of invoicing or order processing systems is beneficial; willingness to learn internal systems is essential.
