FOH Supervisor / Venue Manager – Toppino Pizza & Bar (New Opening)

Toppino Pizza & Bar is a brand-new New York-style pizzeria opening in Balaclava, and we're looking for a Venue Manager to help us build it from the ground up.
About the role This is a ground-floor opportunity — you won't be stepping into an established system, you'll be helping create one. Working closely with the owners, you'll help establish our front-of-house service standards, delivery/takeaway workflows, and day-to-day floor operations from scratch.
What you'll do
- Manage front-of-house operations and lead the FOH team day to day
- Work with ownership to build customer service processes and standards from the ground up
- Set up and refine systems for managing delivery orders (Uber Eats, DoorDash etc.) alongside dine-in service
- Bartend when required, including running the bar during service
- Roster, train, and support FOH staff
- Handle customer feedback and resolve floor-level issues in real time
- Help shape the overall guest experience as we establish our reputation in the neighbourhood
What you'll need
- Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate — essential
- Proven experience as a Venue Manager, Assistant Manager, or senior FOH lead in hospitality
- Bartending experience/confidence
- Comfortable working in a new venue with evolving processes — you're a builder, not just a maintainer
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience managing delivery platform operations is a plus
- Genuine interest in pizza culture and hospitality is a bonus

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
