How you'll make an impact
Coordinate and deliver the end-to-end lease-up of a mixed tenure high-rise development in central Perth over a 12-month leasing timeframe. The role leads timely, compliant and resident-focused leasing outcomes across affordable and market housing tenures, working closely with team members across social allocations, housing services, property, communications and external partners.
The Leasing Coordinator will manage pre-tenancy engagement, application and eligibility processes, inspections, sign-ups, lease documentation and resident onboarding. The role will also contribute to a smooth building activation by maintaining accurate records, coordinating stakeholder communications, monitoring progress against lease-up targets and supporting sustainable tenancy commencement, using approved organisational templates, systems and delegated processes.
This role is a fixed-term opportunity for a period of 12 months.
Your role in action
Coordinate the end-to-end lease-up process for a major mixed-tenure development, ensuring milestones, occupancy targets and project outcomes are achieved.
Manage resident applications from enquiry through to eligibility assessment, property allocation, sign-up and tenancy commencement.
Build positive relationships with applicants, residents, support services, community organisations and government stakeholders to support successful tenancies.
Oversee property viewings, lease documentation, resident onboarding and move-in coordination, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Maintain accurate leasing records, reporting and system data while supporting tenancy sustainment and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills and Experiences:
About you
You will have:
- Hold a current Western Australia real estate license or be registered to work under the supervision of a Western Australian Licensed real estate and business agent.
- Knowledge of residential tenancy management and leasing in a housing or property environment.
- Knowledge of social, affordable and market housing tenures, including the importance of privacy, fairness, compliance, and resident-centred service delivery.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating leasing, tenancy establishment and property onboarding, in a housing or property environment.
- Experience in community housing and/or mixed tenure developments is desirable.
- Experience maintaining accurate records, preparing documentation, and writing progress reports
You must agree to undergo any required employment screening, including but not limited to a National Criminal History or Police Check, Working with Children or Vulnerable Persons Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
