About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team and ensure top-notch cleanliness and guest satisfaction at our establishment.
Key Responsibilities:
Housekeeping Services: Respond promptly to housekeeping requests and advise guests on room equipment when needed. Handle lost property following company procedures.
Room Preparation & Presentation: Ensure rooms and equipment are cleaned to brand standards, make beds, and replenish room supplies. Report maintenance needs promptly.
Common Area Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness in common areas, including vacuuming, mopping, and dusting.
Customer Service: Communicate with guests professionally and maintain confidentiality.
Adherence to Standards: Supervise the housekeeping team to ensure compliance with health and safety policies. Conduct room inspections regularly.
Stock Management: Ensure adequate stock of linens and cleaning supplies. Report any defects to the General Manager.
Budget Management: Control housekeeping expenditures and optimize room cleaning times.
Team Management: Plan work schedules, train staff, and foster a positive team environment. Conduct performance appraisals and regular staff meetings.
Health & Safety: Follow all safety procedures and report any suspicious activities.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on cleaning practices and improve housekeeping functions.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
