About us
Workshop City is a licensed motor vehicle repair business (MRB11638) operating from Welshpool. We service and repair all makes and models, from Toyota and Ford through to European vehicles, and we also run a mobile service for customers who cannot get to the workshop.
We are looking for a qualified motor mechanic to join the team on a full time, ongoing basis.

▪ Cooling system work, head gasket repairs and engine replacements
▪ Transmission servicing and repairs
▪ Tyre fitting, wheel balancing and wheel alignments
▪ Registration and pre-pits inspections
▪ Fitting 4WD accessories such as lift kits, bull bars and driving lights
▪ Road testing vehicles before and after repair, and confirming the fault is fixed
▪ Quoting jobs, ordering parts and explaining the work to customers in plain language
▪ Attending mobile call-outs when required
▪ Keeping accurate job cards and service records, and working to workshop safety procedures
What we are after
▪ Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, or an equivalent overseas trade qualification
▪ At least one years of experience in a workshop environment
▪ Confident with diagnostic scan tools and electronic fault finding

▪ Unrestricted right to work in Australia
What we offer
▪ Steady full time work in a fully equipped workshop
▪ Above award pay based on your experience
