About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality educational programs and fostering positive outcomes for children.
The successful applicant will provide education and care in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), the National Quality Standard (NQS), and the Education and Care Services National Law and National Regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, implement and evaluate educational programs that support children's learning, development and wellbeing.
- Observe, assess and document children's learning and progress.
- Create safe, inclusive, stimulating and engaging learning environments.
- Build positive, respectful and collaborative relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Support and mentor educators to implement high-quality educational practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation, observations and children's records.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the service's Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and ongoing quality practices.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- An ACECQA-approved Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent approved qualification).
- Current NSW Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management qualifications (or the ability to obtain these prior to commencement).
- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standard (NQS), and the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational, leadership and teamwork skills.
- A genuine commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education and care.
