We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Shift Supervisor to join our team in a hybrid role supporting both Gloria Jean's Coffees and Donut King at Maitland Central.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced café and retail environment and wants to develop their leadership skills across two well-known brands. You'll work alongside the Store Managers and Assistant Store Managers at both locations, helping to lead the team, deliver outstanding customer service, and ensure each store operates to the highest standards.
As our business continues to grow, there are also opportunities to progress into leadership roles across our stores throughout the Hunter and Port Stephens region.
About the Role
As a Shift Supervisor, you will:
- Support the Store Managers and Assistant Store Managers with the day-to-day operation of both stores.
- Lead, coach, and motivate team members during your shifts.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a positive experience for every customer.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and presentation.
- Open and close the stores, including cash handling and security procedures.
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory management.
- Help train new team members and support their ongoing development.
- Ensure company policies, procedures, and brand standards are consistently followed.
- Assist in achieving sales, labour, and operational performance targets.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous leadership or supervisory experience in hospitality, cafés, quick service restaurants, or retail.
- Is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
- Leads by example with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Is confident supervising a team and making decisions during busy service periods.
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Is reliable, flexible, and able to work across both Gloria Jean's and Donut King.
- Is available to work a rotating roster, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Pay: $32.73 – $82.01 per hour
