Sydney City Mechanical is looking for a reliable HVAC Technician to join our team.
The role will involve HVAC installation, service, and maintenance work across commercial, residential, and fitout projects throughout Sydney. Works may include ducted systems, split systems, ventilation, grilles, fans, pipework, equipment installation, testing and general mechanical services.
We are looking for someone who is hands-on, reliable, takes pride in their work and can work well with supervisors, builders and other trades on site.
Key responsibilities:
- Carry out HVAC installation, service and maintenance works
- Assist with ductwork, pipework, equipment installation and commissioning
- Read and follow drawings, plans and site instructions
- Work safely and professionally on active construction sites
- Coordinate with supervisors, project managers, builders and other trades
- Complete works to a high standard and within project timeframes
- Help identify site issues and communicate clearly with the team
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in HVAC, mechanical services, refrigeration or air conditioning
- Trade qualification preferred, but strong experience will also be considered
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- White Card
- Current driver’s licence
- Own basic hand tools preferred
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
