We’re seeking an enthusiastic and capable Merchandise Supervisor to supervise merchandise operations for Disney: The Exhibition - A Century of Magic hosted at the Mackay Entertainment and Convention Centre.
In this role, you’ll support and guide a small team, coordinate daily merchandise activities, and help ensure every visitor leaves with a memorable experience and a smile.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supervising daily merchandise operations.
- Supporting Merchandise Sellers.
- Stock control and replenishment.
- Monitoring customer service standards.
- Managing cash handling, end of day balancing and banking processes.
- Providing coaching, guidance and support to team members.
- Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
About You
You may be the perfect fit if you have retail or merchandise experience, confidence supervising staff in a customer-facing environment, strong organisational and communication skills, and experience with cash handling and end of day banking. You’ll be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and bring a genuine passion for delivering great customer service while supporting team success.

What You’ll Need
- Current QLD Working with Children Check / Blue Card – essential.
- Queensland ‘C’ class driver licence – essential.
- Experience in merchandise, retail or customer service operations.
Employment Details
This fixed term full-time temporary supervisory opportunity forms part of the project running from November 2026 to May 2027. Flexible hours will include weekends, evenings and public holidays throughout the project period.
- Stream B, MECC Level 3 - 4: base annual salary range $34.50 - $39.59 per hour. Offer will be determined on the successful candidates’ qualifications and experience. This is a banded Level 3 - 4 position)
