You want to play a part in making NSW a better place to work, live and travel.
You have the opportunity to gain a wealth of expertise and a diverse range of skills, providing insight and knowledge without losing sight of your work-life balance or wellbeing.
In this role, you'll:
Lead risk-based review and assessment of road infrastructure assets, providing independent advice on asset performance, compliance, lifecycle risk, and asset assurance. You will monitor and evaluate the performance of assets and delivery partners, contribute to assurance activities and structured reviews, and assess concessions, non-conformances, and deviations from engineering standards.
You will work across internal teams, service providers and technical specialists to ensure assets are managed in line with TfNSW standards and frameworks, while contributing to the continuous improvement of asset management systems, assurance practices, and asset performance outcomes.
For more information on this position and business unit, view the role description and information pack.
About you
You are a technically capable engineer with experience applying engineering standards, assurance processes, or asset management principles within complex infrastructure environments. You understand how infrastructure assets perform across their lifecycle and can assess performance, risk, compliance, and operational outcomes in a structured and evidence-based manner.
You are comfortable working across multidisciplinary teams and influencing outcomes without direct authority. You can analyse technical information, apply sound engineering judgement, and provide clear, practical advice that supports safe, reliable, and value-for-money asset outcomes.
Experience in road, motorway, tunnel, electrical, intelligent transport systems (ITS), communications, control systems, operational technology, rail, or other linear infrastructure environments will be highly regarded.
