The Opportunity
FIFO 3:1 roster from Perth (interstate considered)
Working at our Gove NT Project
10-hour days with consistent ongoing work
Permanent, full-time role under EBA conditions
Key Responsibilities
Operate excavators 38t+ across demolition, remediation and civil works
Use a range of attachments including shears, breakers, crackers and pulverisers
Carry out bulk excavation, trenching, sorting and material handling
Perform final trim and detailed excavation work where required
Support structural demolition and scrap processing activities
Conduct pre-start checks, daily maintenance and basic servicing of equipment
Follow site SWMS, JHA and permit requirements at all times
Work closely with Supervisors and team members to meet daily production targets
Assist with general site duties and work on the ground when required
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and safe work practices
Skills and Experiences:
What We Need From You (Must Haves)
Strong commitment to safety and compliance
Minimum 5 years’ experience operating excavators 38t+
Proven background in demolition, remediation or civil projects
Tickets & Licences Required
Construction White Card
Valid Driver’s Licence (HR or above preferred)
Verified VOC / RII competencies for excavator operation (38t+)
Relevant VOCs/tickets for attachments highly regarded
Ability to pass medical, drug & alcohol and police clearance
Full working rights in Australia
What Will Set You Apart
Multi-skilled across ADT, loaders, water or service trucks
Experience with shears for structural demolition
Concrete demolition experience (breakers, crackers, pulverisers)
Oxy cutting experience
Physically fit and adaptable to demanding site environments
