What you'll be doing
As a Registered Nurse in Anaesthetics and Recovery, you will provide safe, individualised and evidence-based care that supports patients before, during and after surgery. You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible outcomes while maintaining high clinical standards in a busy perioperative environment.
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred anaesthetic and post anaesthetic recovery care
- Monitor, assess and respond to changing patient conditions with confidence and professionalism
- Support safe discharge planning through effective communication and appropriate referrals
- Mentor, supervise and support students and other nursing staff where required
- Advocate for patients and families while managing resources effectively and working within professional and ethical standards

Demonstrated recent nursing experience relevant to the position and commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice
Demonstrated application of evidence based practice and critical thinking to patient care
Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality nursing care
Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means,; and sound interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.
