About the Role
You’ll be the first point of contact for our guests, making sure they feel welcome and ready for their experience.
Key duties include:
- Greeting and checking in guests
- Processing and confirming online bookings & managing availability
- Handling phone and email enquiries
- Selling photo and video packages
- Opening and closing the office (once trained)
- Keeping the office space clean and presentable
- Guiding safety briefings
- Assisting management with media programs
- Working with world-wide third parties and agents such as Get your guide, Adrenaline, Klook etc
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will bring energy, professionalism, enthusiasm and a love for bringing new experiences to people.
Essential skills & qualities:
- Excellent communication skills (in-person, phone & email)
- Friendly, approachable and positive attitude
- Trustworthy, reliable and punctual
- Confident working independently and in a team
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment when necessary
- Local resident (Gold Coast or nearby)
- Australian citizen
Highly regarded (but not essential):
- Experience with boats (commercial or recreational)
- Parasailing, water sports or tourism experience
- Previous reservation experience (Hotels, tour desks etc)
- Strong numeracy skills
- Current driver’s licence
Availability
We are busiest during weekends, school holidays and Christmas, so availability during these periods is essential. Weekday shifts will also be available.
