Job Summary:
We’re hiring for a Migrations & Reporting Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the integrity, accuracy, and impact of our superannuation and tax reporting. Sitting within our Custody & Investment Platform Operations team, this role combines deep technical expertise with leadership and operational oversight to deliver high-quality regulatory and tax outcomes for our clients.
You’ll lead key reporting obligations such as APRA reporting and tax statement production, while also overseeing critical data transitions across the platform. Acting as a trusted subject matter expert, you’ll partner closely with Product, Fund Accounting, Risk, and Technology teams - bringing insights, strengthening controls, and ensuring data integrity at every stage.
This is a unique opportunity to step into a highly visible role where your expertise directly influences reporting accuracy, client outcomes, and strategic decision-making across the business.
Responsibilities:
- Own and oversee APRA and superannuation regulatory reporting, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with underlying data
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of super and IDPS tax statements, including validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution
- Act as a technical SME across superannuation tax, reporting obligations, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain strong tax data integrity and control frameworks, including oversight of complex considerations such as tax wash
- Lead and support data transitions and migrations, ensuring historical data accuracy and smooth onboarding
- Establish and enhance reporting governance and control frameworks across regulatory, tax, and operational reporting
- Provide insights and reporting to senior leadership to support decision-making and risk management
- Partner with Product and Fund Accounting teams to ensure alignment across product design, processing, and reporting outcomes
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, driving accountability, capability uplift, and continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Proven experience in superannuation, platform, or custody operations, with a focus on reporting, tax, or fund services
- Strong knowledge of APRA reporting and regulatory obligations within a superannuation environment
- Solid understanding of superannuation and IDPS tax reporting, including tax statements and related processes
- Experience working with data transitions, migrations, or onboarding, with a focus on data integrity and controls
- Working knowledge of fund accounting, investment products, and unit pricing principles
- Advanced analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Experience leading or mentoring a team, with a focus on development and performance
- High attention to detail and a strong understanding of risk management and control frameworks
- Qualifications in finance, accounting, business, or a related discipline (highly regarded)
