Position: Carpenter
Position type: Full time 38 hours per week
Salary: $85,000 per annum plus superannuation

Construction Group are seeking an experienced and motivated carpenter to join our growing team. You'll work across a range of projects performing carpentry duties.
KEY DUTIES/TASKS
- Interpreting construction plans, technical drawings and specifications to identify material requirements, measurements and installation methods
- Selecting, ordering and preparing timber, hardware and other construction materials, including setting out project layouts
- Measuring, cutting, shaping and assembling materials and components using hand and power tools
- Constructing and installing wall frameworks, roof structures, flooring systems and sub-floor components while ensuring structural accuracy and alignment
- Installing fascia boards, roof sheeting, external cladding, as well as door and window frames in accordance with project specifications
- Fabricating and assembling timber structures, fittings and fixtures prior to installation on-site
- Preparing and cutting timber joints to ensure precise fitting and structural integrity
- Assisting with the construction and installation of concrete formwork where required
- Carrying out maintenance, repairs and replacement of existing timber fixtures and fittings
- Working with a range of materials including timber, plastic laminates, Perspex and light metals for construction and finishing purposes
REQUIREMENTS
- Certificate III in Carpentry
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry
- Has PPI Kit (preferred)
- Has own tool kit (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools
- White card (Construction induction safety certificate)
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Must be available on Saturdays
Pay: Up to $85,000.00 per year
