Who you Are
We are seeking an Onsite Support team member to provide 1st-line support and technical assistance, with a focus on event operations, as part of the Support Team embedded within a client’s premises.
Based at our client’s office in the Brisbane CBD, the role’s primary focus will be service delivery to Convergint’s SLA-based Audio Visual support-contract.
The Role
This position is responsible for providing on-site client support, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance within our clients office environment.
What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”.
- On-site client support/troubleshooting
- Preparation of Preventative Maintenance Reports
- On-site client training (administrator and end user)
- Use solid troubleshooting skills to isolate and fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software.
- Provide technical support to end users when applicable.
- Keep up to date and informed on all company products, services and policies.
- Present a professional image of Convergint at all times in appearance and behaviour and seeks opportunities to promote the services offered by the company.
- Communicate with and work with the other team members consistently to improve overall operations of the Convergint Technology Centre and company.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
To be successful in the role you will need to have:
- A very keen interest in workplace collaboration technology
- Superior customer service skills to work efficiently and effectively with both internal and external customers
- Experience with Microsoft Teams and Zoom
- Crestron and AMX experience
- IT and Networking would be preferential but not necessary.
- Ability to adapt to varying situations and remain focused, friendly and calm when dealing with customers
- Ability to work as a team with a positive attitude and professional customer service skills
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- Effective communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
