- Salary range between $92,937 - $105,557 p.a. (inclusive of $12k pro rata cost of living allowance)

About the Position
Reporting to the Roads Coordinator, you will assist with the safe and efficient delivery of road maintenance works across the Shire. The position operates on a Monday to Friday roster, working 8.5 hours per day.
This position is responsible for:
- General road construction such as patching and surface maintenance
- Signage repairs, replacements and installations
- Maintain safe traffic management operations
- Assist with basic servicing of equipment
- Safely operate tools such as shovels, rakes, cutters, compacters, generators and crowbars
- Conduct pre-start checks and report faults and defects when identified in line with organisational procedures, policies and relevant standards
- Other general labour duties as required
- Occasional travel to other Shire towns.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- HR Drivers Licence (essential)
- White Card (essential)
- Ability to safely operate basic plant and equipment
- Thorough understanding of road maintenance and construction activities
- Sound understanding of safety, environmental and compliance requirements
- Previous Traffic Management experience
- Experience working outdoors in remote rural conditions
- A strong focus on teamwork, safety and quality work is essential
