About the Role:
Are you an experienced Speech Pathologist looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, young people and their families? The Enhanced Child Health Service (ECHS) is expanding, and we are excited to welcome a Speech Pathologist to join our growing multidisciplinary team in a newly established role.
This is a unique opportunity to help shape and grow speech pathology services within ECHS while working closely with families to support children with speech, language, communication and feeding needs. Using a family-centred approach, you will undertake comprehensive assessments through parent and carer interviews, direct observation, speech and language assessments, speech sound assessments and, where required, feeding assessments. Your expertise will help families better understand their child's strengths, challenges and support needs.
As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy the autonomy to utilise your clinical knowledge and professional judgement while collaborating with a supportive multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality, coordinated care. You will build strong relationships with families, carers, schools, health professionals and community partners to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
Beyond clinical practice, you will have opportunities to contribute to service innovation, quality improvement, professional supervision, education and the ongoing development of models of care. As this is a new role, your ideas, experience and leadership will help shape the future direction of speech pathology within ECHS.

Note: This is a part-time (18:22 hours per week) permanent position. The full-time salary noted above will be paid pro rata for part-time hours.
