About The Role
In this Pathology Collector role, you will work exclusively for our commercial clients to primarily conduct required specimen collections for drug and alcohol screening services. You'll travel to various client locations across Sydney and deliver professional and compliant collection services that support workplace health and safety outcomes.
Key responsibilities:

Conduct drug and alcohol specimen collections in accordance with AS4308 requirements

Perform blood and other pathology specimen collections as required

Travel to client sites across Sydney to deliver collection services

Prepare and package specimens for transport in line with procedures

Maintain accurate records, chain-of-custody documentation and testing processes

Deliver a professional, confidential and compliant experience for clients

Support smooth daily operations across collection and client sites
About You
We are ideally seeking an experienced Pathology Collector with experience in drug and alcohol collections. You'll be professional, adaptable and customer-focused, with the ability to build trusted relationships and represent Healius positively.
While experience in commercial testing environments is highly regarded, we also welcome applications from collectors looking to broaden their experience in this specialised area.
Qualifications and Experience

Completion of HLTPAT005 Collect Specimens for Drugs of Abuse Testing (essential)

Experience conducting collections in accordance with AS/NZS 4308 requirements is highly regarded
-
Certificate III in Pathology Collection is desirable
Requirements

Current unrestricted driver's licence (essential)

Ability to travel regularly to client sites across Sydney (company car provided)

Availability to work a casual roster across 7 days

Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC), or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement

Ability to provide evidence of immunisation requirements including Hepatitis B
