About the role

As a Senior Sourcing Officer, you’ll be a key player in driving strategic procurement success across the City. In this role, you will:
Lead and manage category planning, sourcing strategies, and end-to-end procurement activities
Work on procurement activities of various risk and complexity including needs and market analysis, strategy development, tendering activities, evaluations, and negotiations, various contractual suite formations and award.
Build and maintain strong stakeholder and supplier relationships and to drive effective outcomes
Attention to detail and information gathering, data accuracy competence in navigating procurement systems (eg SAP, Ready Contracts, Vendor Panel)
Mentoring, training, and managing portfolio tender pipeline.
This role requires mid to senior-level procurement experience, with proven ability to delivery multiple end to end procurement activities simultaneously. Government / Local Government is desirable.

Solid sourcing and procurement experience
Proven ability to support and/or lead tenders, evaluations, and negotiations
