Hecho en Mexico Crows Nest is seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Supervisor to help lead our team and deliver outstanding guest experiences every day.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional with strong leadership skills, a hands-on approach, and a passion for creating a positive team culture. Working closely with the entire team and ownership, you will play a key role in overseeing daily operations, supporting staff development, and maintaining the high standards our guests have come to expect.
About the Role
As Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of the restaurant while leading and supporting both Front and Back of House teams. You will be a visible leader on the floor, setting the standard for exceptional service, teamwork, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Lead, coach, and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service
- Support and supervise Front and Back of House teams during service
- Manage customer feedback and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
- Assist with staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance development
- Prepare and manage staff rosters to meet operational requirements
- Monitor stock levels, inventory, and supplier orders
- Ensure food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and service standards are consistently maintained
- Complete daily reporting, cash handling, and administrative tasks as required
- Monitor sales performance and labour costs to support business objectives
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety, and licensing regulations
- Work collaboratively with ownership and team members to drive operational improvements and team success
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Supervisor, Team Leader, or in a similar hospitality leadership role
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for hospitality and customer service
- Ability to remain calm, organised, and solution-focused during busy service periods
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, food safety, and workplace compliance
- Experience training, mentoring, and developing team members
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- A proactive attitude and willingness to lead by example
