Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Specialist to support and enhance our human resources operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, and HR compliance. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding.
- Support employee relations by addressing workplace concerns and providing HR guidance.
- Administer employee records and maintain accurate HR documentation.
- Assist with performance management processes, including reviews and development plans.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
- Coordinate employee training, learning, and development initiatives.
- Support compensation, benefits, and payroll-related activities.
- Prepare HR reports, metrics, and workforce analytics.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Promote employee engagement and workplace wellbeing programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR practices.
- Experience with recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information systems (HRIS).
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional HR certification (AHRI, CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent).
- Experience in workforce planning and talent management.
- Knowledge of payroll and benefits administration.
- Experience working in a fast-paced or growing organization.
