Full-time position based in the Hunter Region

Reporting to the Projects and Business Intelligence Manager, you will provide analytical, administrative and project support across a range of organisational initiatives. You will play a key role in transforming data into meaningful insights, supporting business improvement projects, contributing to tender and grant submissions, and ensuring stakeholders have access to accurate and timely information to support decision-making.

About the role…
This role will require you to:
- Produce, maintain and distribute routine and ad hoc reports
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools
- Analyse data quality and integrity, identifying trends, discrepancies and opportunities for improvements
- Assist with identification, testing and implementation of system enhancements, reporting improvements and automation opportunities
- Provide analytical and administrative support for business projects, reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
- Conduct research, data collection and analysis to support project outcomes, business cases and decision-making
- Research and identify tender, procurement, funding and grant opportunities
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with organisational policies, procedures and legislative requirements
- Participate in meetings, training and professional development activities
About you…
To be successful in this exciting and rewarding role you will have the following:
- Ability to prioritise and manage deadlines while ensuring high levels of accuracy in a high-volume driven environment
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills to support internal and external customers
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience using Power BI desirable.
- Experience in an administrative, reporting, project support or customer service role.
- Experience within the employment services, vocational education and training (VET), community services or related sectors is desirable.
- Be a multi skilled team player with the ability to work with a diverse range of people and within and across departments
- Hold a current driver's licence and have the willingness to travel as required
