About the Role
As an Enrolled Nurse (EN), you will provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will support patients across a variety of clinical settings while contributing to high-quality care and positive health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver person-centred nursing care within the Enrolled Nurse scope of practice.
- Assist patients with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily living activities.
- Administer medications (where endorsed) and assist with clinical procedures.
- Monitor patient wellbeing and report changes to the Registered Nurse.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in care planning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient care.
- Follow infection control, workplace safety, and clinical governance standards.
Skills & Requirements
- Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled Nursing).
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Medication administration endorsement (where required).
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to patient-centred care and safe nursing practice.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is desirable.
