Details: Health and Community Services Directorate's (HCSD's) Support Services for Children is looking for a Children and Young People Equipment Loans Scheme (CAYPELS) Co-ordinator at the ASO6 level. The CAYPELS Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the service, as well as leading a technical team to undertake the operational and administration duties of the service, supporting therapists to facilitate access for people within the community requiring equipment loans or trials.

Eligibility/Other requirements:
- Experience and/or desire to work in a community services environment.

Experience in supervision of administrative support/technical support officers.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and database systems.

As this role is likely to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and young people, cultural awareness, and capacity to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people is highly desirable.
Note: This is a temporary part-time position (three days per week) available from 1 August 2026 to 30 July 2027, and the full-time salary noted above will be pro-rata.
A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
