Great things start here
You will be part of a workplace where you feel you belong. RACV is continuing an exciting transformational journey that is revolutionising the way we work and the products and services we offer our members and customers into the future.
About the opportunity
Reporting to the BA Team Leader, the Senior Business Analyst (Senior BA) plays a critical role within the Program Management Department. This role will support the newly established Salesforce Squad, which is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of initiatives and projects related to RACV’s Emergency assistance products, including Emergency Roadside Assistance (ERA) and Emergency Home Assist (EHA).
As an experienced Senior BA, you will lead and drive business analysis activities within an Agile/Scrum squad environment, working closely with Product Owner, Scrum Master, Functional Consultant, business SMEs and delivery teams. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and processes, document requirements and support delivery outcomes that align to business strategy, operational needs, member experience and technology considerations - from Discovery through to Planning and Delivery.
This could be just the right role for you
While the BA Practice Team Leader provides direction and leadership, the Senior BA is expected to be a self-starter and maintain a proactive approach when engaging with the business. As we invest in your career and development, you will have the opportunity to coach and support other members of the BA Practice.
Who are we looking for and what you’ll bring
You’ll thrive in a collaborative, people-centered organisation where members are at the heart of everything we do. You’ll bring:
Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery squads, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, user story development, acceptance criteria definition and close collaboration with Product Owners and delivery teams.
Demonstrated experience in producing epics and user stories, documenting business metrics, business rules, acceptance criteria, and success measures to guide solution delivery and track outcomes.
Ability to support data analysis, solution design, and user experience design by considering business rules, operational impacts, and dependencies across systems and services.
Experience with conducting detailed stakeholder and change impact analysis across processes, people, technology, and ways of working.
Prior experience in developing user-facing artefacts, including work instructions, guides, and training materials, to support successful implementation.
Strong focus on capability uplift, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement aligned with risk reduction, compliance and lifecycle management
At RACV, we believe that maintaining a diverse and inclusive workplace is an important element in our continued success. We want our people to feel welcome, supported and appreciated for who they are and what they bring to our business. If you require any reasonable adjustments to the recruitment process and/or the role, please let our Talent Acquisition Team know.
Applicants will be required to provide evidence of their eligibility to work in Australia, and consent to a criminal record check.
