Full-Time Dental Receptionist
Many of our patients have been with us for years. Some arrive nervous about treatment. Some haven't seen a dentist in a long time.
What keeps them coming back isn't just the dentistry – it's how they're treated from the moment they call or walk through our doors.
We're looking for someone who can be that first impression.
Someone who is warm, welcoming, organised, and genuinely enjoys helping people. Someone who can make patients feel comfortable, keep a busy day running smoothly, and become an important part of our close-knit team.
About the Role
As the face of our practice, you'll play a vital role in creating a positive experience for every patient. You'll manage the front desk, coordinate appointments, support our clinical team, and help ensure that patients receive the care they need.
This is a full-time position in our established and growing dental practice .
Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting patients and managing check-in and checkout
- Answering phone calls and emails professionally and warmly
- Managing and optimising the appointment schedule
- Booking new patients and coordinating ongoing treatment appointments
- Following up on treatment plans and patient recalls
- Processing payments, HICAPS claims, and account enquiries
- Maintaining accurate patient records using Dental4Windows
- Supporting dentists and clinical staff with day-to-day administrative tasks
- Helping create a positive, caring, and professional environment for patients and colleagues
Who We're Looking For
Experience in dental or medical reception is highly regarded, but we believe the right attitude is just as important as experience.
Experience with Dental4Windows is an advantage, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
What We Offer
- A supportive and friendly team environment
- Stable full-time employment
- Ongoing training and development
- Modern systems and processes
- The opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients and make a genuine difference in their experience
If you're passionate about customer service, enjoy working with people, and would like to be part of a practice that genuinely cares for its patients, we'd love to hear from you.
