LMA has entered into an arrangement with BAE, Saab and CoA (MIWS) for the execution of all Combat System Integration work related to the Aegis Surface Combatant fleet.
The agreement, called the Combat Systems Integration – Integrated Project Team (CSI-IPT) Collaboration Agreement or CCA forms a collaborative enterprise organisation to execute scopes of work across Hobart Class Destroyer (SEA4000 Phase 6 and other related Destroyer Capability Enhancement (DCE) upgrades) and the Hunter Class Frigates (HCFs - SEA5000 Phase 1). The CSI-IPT evolves the current independently executing programs such as SEA4000 Phase 6 and SEA5000 Phase 1 under an umbrella enterprise organisation formed as a program of programs.
The Lead Project Scheduler – Production and Maintenance Planning is accountable for the development, maintenance, and ongoing updates of the CSI-IPT Supplementary Production and Maintenance Schedules, including the associated Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB). The role also contributes to the development and maintenance of process and policy documentation supporting the Integrated Supplementary Schedule environment.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Act as the subject matter expert and champion for scheduling, providing leadership in Project Planning & Controls within the Production and Test team.

Develop, maintain, and manage the integrated supplementary schedule covering production, testing, and maintenance activities, including the associated Performance Measurement Baseline.

Lead analysis and reporting of critical path, key activities, milestones, and overall schedule performance.

Maintain schedule quality and health in line with recognised schedule standards (e.g. DCMA), identifying and driving corrective actions where required.

Develop and maintain resource demand and utilisation data to support capacity planning and workforce optimisation.

Prepare and present performance reporting, including schedule adherence, delivery performance, and resource utilisation.

Ensure vertical integration and alignment with the master schedule and effective interfacing with external stakeholders’ schedules and internal tasking systems.

Support integration of scheduling data into project controls, reporting systems, and task management tools.

Provide scheduling expertise, advice, and on-the-job guidance to the Production and Test team, including mentoring junior schedulers.

Work collaboratively with stakeholders to improve schedule adherence and drive continuous improvement across planning processes and tools.

Ensure schedule data integrity, governance compliance, and alignment with contractual, program, and organisational requirements.

Provide day-to-day leadership and technical oversight of the production planning environment within the CSI-IPT.
About you:
- Project management professional with experience working in a project-oriented environment.

Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including planning, scheduling, and project controls principles.

Demonstrated scheduling experience is essential.

Exposure to Earned Value Management practices and techniques is highly desirable.

Experience within a defence acquisition environment is desirable.

Experience in maintenance, production, or test environments is also desirable.
