We are seeking a highly organised and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Administration Clerk in our Emergency Department. As a member of the Emergency Department Administration team, you are customer focused and enjoy working in a busy team environment. The successful applicant will work on a rotating roster on a combination of day, evening and night shifts for which penalty rates apply.

Demonstrated skills in managing information in a discreet, professional and confidential manner

Able to work on a rotating roster in a 24/7 department opened 365 days per year

Willingness to learn new systems
Desirable Criteria

Experience in hospital patient administration systems, or private practice software

Understanding of Private Health Insurance / Medicare patient billing

Relevant health services experience is desirable but not essential
