About the role
The main responsibility for this role is managing all Accounts Payable transactions for our international division in an efficient, timely and accurate manner. This also includes timely follow up of all outstanding items ensuring all creditor accounts are kept as up to date as possible.
This is a full function Accounts Payable role that will include:
- New account set up and account management
- Processing of supplier invoices and employee expense claims
- Supplier payments according to trading terms
- Manage supplier and internal enquiries on a daily basis
- Month end reconciliations for large suppliers
- Maintenance of all balances
- Identify areas for improvement
- Adhere to month end reporting deadlines
- Comply with all company procedures and policies
- Assist with ad-hoc tasks within department as required
Full time in office role, based in Warriewood on Sydney's Northern beaches.
Skills and Experiences:
About you
- 1+ year's experience in Accounts Payable or relevant practical experience within an accounting environment
- Sound numerical an PC skills and be self sufficient in the use of spreadsheets including pivot tables
- Ability to prioritise work to meet strict deadlines including sound time management skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Solution focused approach in order to resolve issues that compromise the accuracy of reporting
- Strong attention to detail
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin (preferred)
