We have a fantastic fixed-term opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven professional to join the Corporate Affairs & Engagement team as a Communications Advisor.
About the role
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to high-impact communications that support Water Corporation’s key projects, corporate priorities and reputation.
You’ll play a hands-on role in developing and delivering communications across a mix of channels and initiatives, working closely with a variety of stakeholders to ensure messaging is clear, consistent and aligned.

What the role will involve

Support the development and delivery of communications strategies for major projects, issues and initiatives.
- Support the development of corporate publications, including the Annual Report, to enable clear external communications.
- Manage the external awards submission process for teams and individuals.
- Review conference presentations, including proofreading, editing and ensuring alignment with corporate goals and reputation.
- Manage the Corporate Communications inbox and allocate requests within and outside the team.
- Maintain and update the register of corporate memberships.
Key skills and experience

A tertiary degree in communications, public relations, journalism or a related discipline

Experience developing communications materials and publications for a corporate environment
- Ability to contribute to communications plans
- Strong writing and editing skills, with a high level of attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A proactive, team-oriented approach and confidence working with a range of stakeholders
