In this role, you'll:
Work as part of a team delivering large-scale rail fleet programs and engineering outcomes that support the future of transport across NSW. This role will see you leading and coordinating engineering activities across multiple complex projects, ensuring technical requirements are integrated and project outcomes are achieved safely, efficiently and in line with scope, quality, time and cost expectations.
You'll contribute to design development, testing and commissioning activities, risk management, procurement processes and stakeholder engagement while broadening your exposure to major infrastructure and rollingstock projects.
You will lead technical solutions, build strong stakeholder partnerships and drive project outcomes in a complex environment characterised by competing priorities, challenging technical requirements and diverse stakeholder expectations. Working closely with project teams, contractors, subject matter experts and government agencies, you'll play a key role in delivering engineering excellence and supporting the successful delivery of critical rail infrastructure and fleet initiatives.

About you
Your leadership capability, engineering expertise and collaborative approach, formed across rail, rollingstock, transport, infrastructure, logistics, construction or major project environments, will see you excel in leading complex engineering activities, managing technical risks and coordinating multidisciplinary stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
You bring the ability to integrate technical requirements, navigate complex project challenges and deliver quality outcomes while maintaining a strong focus on safety, compliance and continuous improvement.
You're recognised as a trusted engineering professional, skilled at communicating complex technical information, building productive stakeholder relationships and driving outcomes in high-pressure environments. Experienced in the delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects, engineering coordination and risk management, you have a proven ability to influence, problem solve and provide technical leadership that contributes to successful project delivery and long-term transport outcomes for NSW.
