About the role
Due to continued growth and increasing demand for building compliance and regulatory services, we are seeking a Senior Building Surveyor's Assistant to join our Building Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting statutory building functions while contributing to a collaborative, customer-focused and professional work environment.
The primary objectives of the role are to support the delivery of compliant and customer-focused building services through the provision of technical advice, building inspections, compliance and enforcement activities and the administration of building legislation.
About you

You are a proactive and customer-focused professional with excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills. You demonstrate sound judgement, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. You are also committed to continuous improvement and supporting the development of less experienced team members through mentoring and leadership. Participation in an after-hours emergency and on-call roster may be required as part of this role.
Please ensure you address the key selection criteria outlined in the position description as part of your application.
You may be required to undertake practical testing, work preference profiling / psychometric testing, functional capacity assessment (physical) or aptitude testing.
