We are looking for a passionate and experienced Sessional Trainer with a background in disability services to inspire and upskill the next generation of care professionals.
As a trainer, you’ll share your knowledge, bring industry practice to life, and help learners deepen their expertise to make a real difference in their communities.
genU Training delivers job-ready, nationally recognised qualifications and vocational short courses. We empower people through education—particularly those living with disability, long-term unemployed, or experiencing vulnerability in the community.
As a Sessional Trainer, you will:
- Deliver CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)
- Facilitate engaging training across face-to-face and online environments
- Support learners from diverse backgrounds, including new entrants and experienced support workers
- Bring industry insights into your sessions to create practical, job-ready learning
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance training quality and learner experience
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) - essential
- Relevant qualification in individual support or disability
- Strong, current experience in the disability sector
- Confident facilitation skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners
- Experience delivering training both in-person and online
(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
