Your new role
You will be responsible for:

Providing secretariat and executive assistant support.

Managing diary and email workflows, ensuring timely responses and prioritisation of commitments.

Preparing correspondence, briefing materials, and handling confidential documents.
-
Scheduling meetings, coordinating stakeholder engagement, and ensuring documentation meets standards for accessibility and security.
-
Organising travel, accommodation, and logistical support for official meetings and functions.
-
Undertaking research and investigations to support the Principal Member and Secretariat.

Maintaining governance processes and contributing to the smooth operations of the IAC.

Building strong relationships with IAC members, NDIA business areas, and external stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will demonstrate:

Previous experience in an Executive Assistant/Secretariat-like position (required).

Coordinating competing requests and managing workflow in a dynamic environment.
-
Working independently while collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Applying accessibility and culturally safe approaches in all tasks.

Managing confidential information and preparing accurate documentation.
-
Using Microsoft Office and NDIA systems (CRM, SharePoint) efficiently.

Communicating clearly in plain English and fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
The Logistics

Australian Citizenship is Required

6-month contract with possibility of extension or permanency.

Hybrid working arrangement.

Hourly rate of $43.82 + super.

Opportunities across NSW, including Surry Hills, Penrith, Blacktown, Hurstville, Bankstown, Wollongong, Campbelltown, and Parramatta.
