Aviation Cleaning Operative – Cairns Airport
We are currently seeking reliable and motivated Aviation Cleaning Operatives to join our team at Cairns Airport. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic airport environment, delivering high-quality cleaning services with a strong focus on customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks across airport terminals and facilities
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Deliver excellent service and uphold safety procedures
- Work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Minimum Requirements
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing and medical assessments
- Eligible to obtain an ASIC (criminal history clearance)
- Hold a valid driver’s licence and have access to reliable transport
- Good availability, including weekends and public holidays
Desired Attributes
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude
- Physically fit with the ability to walk and stand for extended periods
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and initiative
- Previous experience in floor care (stripping and sealing) is advantageous
