CASUAL DISHWASHER

Café Chérie is looking for a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher / Kitchen Hand to join our friendly kitchen team.
This role is primarily focused on dishwashing, with some light kitchen preparation and cleaning duties to help keep our kitchen running smoothly. If you’re organised, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in keeping things clean and efficient, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
* Casual position
* Approximately 20–30 hours per week (depending on business needs)
* Day shifts only – no night work
* Weekend rotation required
* Hospitality Industry (General) Award rates apply
Your Duties Will Include
* Washing dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment
* Keeping the dishwashing area clean and organised
* Cleaning kitchen work areas and equipment
* Washing and preparing vegetables
* Light food preparation, including cutting vegetables
* Assisting the kitchen team with general cleaning and support duties
* Maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards
About You
* Reliable and punctual
* Positive attitude and willing to learn
* Able to work efficiently in a busy kitchen
* Comfortable with repetitive physical work and being on your feet
* Able to work well as part of a team
This position would suit a student looking for regular casual work or someone seeking daytime hospitality hours.
Requirements
* Food Handler Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain before commencing employment)
* Must have reliable transport to and from Café Chérie, Pinjarra
* Full Australian working rights
