About Us
Gateway Health is a not-for-profit community health service delivering primary health and welfare services to individuals, families, and communities across Northeast Victoria and parts of Southern New South Wales. With a team of over 300 dedicated staff, we operate across the Ovens Murray region and are committed to improving health outcomes for all people, including those facing social, environmental, and cultural barriers to care. We celebrate diversity and actively work to reflect the communities we serve.
About the Role
The newly established Women’s Health Clinic at Gateway Health is in partnership with Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) and forms part of the Victorian Government’s initiative to expand free women’s health services across the state, ensuring equitable access to high-quality care for all women.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference while improving access to specialist women's health services across our community.
This position is covered by the Medical Practitioners Award 2020. To attract and retain high-quality clinicians, we offer an above-award hourly rate of $200 per hour, with remuneration reflecting the value of your expertise.

To thrive in this role, you'll bring:
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or equivalent, with current unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Additional qualifications in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, such as a RANZCOG Diploma, Advanced Diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience providing high-quality, evidence-based women's health care, including assessment and management of a broad range of gynaecological presentations
- A commitment to person-centred, collaborative care and our organisational values
- A sound understanding of clinical governance, quality and safety, and the legislative requirements relevant to medical practice
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining contemporary clinical knowledge
