About the Role
As Centre Director, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the service, ensuring compliance, quality education, and exceptional customer service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and mentoring a team of educators
- Creating a positive and inclusive workplace culture
- Ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations
- Driving continuous quality improvement and maintaining a high standard of educational practice
- Building strong relationships with children, families and the local community
- Managing centre occupancy, enrolments and family engagement
- Overseeing staffing, rostering and day-to-day centre operations
- Supporting educational leadership and professional development
- Working collaboratively with the Approved Provider and Operations Team to achieve service goals
About You
You will be someone who:
- Holds an approved Early Childhood qualification (Diploma or Early Childhood Teaching qualification preferred)
- Has previous experience as a Centre Director or Assistant Director
- Demonstrates excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Has a sound understanding of the National Quality Standard (NQS) and relevant legislation
- Is passionate about leading high-quality educational programs
- Can motivate, mentor and inspire a diverse team
- Possesses strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Is committed to continuous improvement and delivering outstanding outcomes for children and families
Essential Requirements
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
- Current Child Protection training
- Strong knowledge of Child Safe Standards
- Full Australian working rights
