About us:
CHHHS Maternity Services provide a full continuum of care across antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal and newborn services.
Midwives may work in:
Antenatal clinics (inpatient and outpatient)
Birth Suite
Postnatal wards
Community and home visiting services
Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) models
We are committed to woman-centred, family-focused care. Our services include both standard and continuity of care models, supporting women to build trusting therapeutic relationships with their midwives throughout pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period.
Your role:
Provide safe, high-quality midwifery care across the full scope of practice.
Deliver antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care in inpatient, outpatient, community or home settings as required.
Undertake full episode of care responsibilities when working within a continuity of care model (e.g. MGP).
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care in partnership with women and their families.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal maternal and neonatal outcomes.
Escalate care in accordance with clinical guidelines, consultation and referral frameworks.
