Under general supervision the Organisational Development Advisor will provide administrative, advisory and development support for the Council’s organisational, learning and development activities.
The role will drive implementing workforce capability initiatives, maintain learning and development performance data, and contribute to the smooth implementation of Council’s learning management system and process. This position supports the continuous improvement of organisational development functions.
Employment Status: Full Time, Permanent – 72.5 hours per fortnight
Award: Level 5 of the Queensland Local Government Industry (Stream A) Award – State 2017
Salary Range: $96,863.00 to $99,972.00 gross per annum
The successful candidate will have:
- Demonstrated administrative and coordination skills within a Human Resources, training or organisational development environment.
- Strong ability to effectively engage, facilitate, and deliver both virtual and face-to-face training to groups of leaders and employees.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence and work collaboratively with strong facilitation, consultation and influencing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with databases or learning management systems.
- Relevant qualification in business, Human Resources, or Training and Development
- Possession and maintenance of a current Queensland ‘C’ Class Driver Licence.

This position is primarily an indoor role and requires sufficient physical ability to work in a shared office setting, which involves prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and operating a computer and telephone. This position is required to carry out light to moderate manual handling, bending, kneeling, twisting, squatting, lifting and carrying.
Out-of-hours work may be required.
