About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior ICT Business Analyst to lead the analysis, design and continuous improvement of our business systems — with a primary focus on our NetSuite ERP environment, the development of custom business intelligence solutions, and the operational management of our Shopify ecommerce platform.
This is a hands-on, end-to-end delivery role. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable gathering requirements from senior stakeholders, configuring and optimising NetSuite ERP, and independently designing, building and deploying custom reporting tools and business intelligence applications that are used in live production by the business.
This is not a traditional functional consulting role. We require someone who has demonstrably taken a business intelligence or systems solution from requirements through to independent production deployment — and who has the technical depth to maintain and evolve those solutions over time.
Key Responsibilities
Business Intelligence & Custom Reporting Development
- Independently design, build, deploy and maintain custom business intelligence tools and operational dashboards — including web-based applications — that provide the sales team and senior management with real-time visibility into business performance Translate raw business data from NetSuite, Shopify, and other platforms into structured management reporting frameworks tailored to the specific operational needs of the business.
- Analyse sales performance, inventory, and operational KPIs to identify trends and present structured findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders Manage the full delivery lifecycle of BI solutions — from stakeholder requirements through to production deployment and ongoing support
NetSuite ERP Analysis & Optimisation
- Analyse, configure, test and support NetSuite ERP modules across inventory management, order processing, supply chain, and operations functions
- Evaluate existing NetSuite configurations to identify inefficiencies and deliver targeted process and system improvements Develop and maintain NetSuite integration documentation connecting ERP with ecommerce, sales, and logistics platforms Coordinate NetSuite enhancements, workflow automation, upgrades, and change initiatives
- Monitor system performance and proactively recommend continuous improvements
Ecommerce Systems & Operations
- Manage and analyse ecommerce operations on the Shopify platform — including inventory analysis, order management, and sales performance reporting Identify and resolve operational inefficiencies across the ecommerce and supply chain workflow
- Manage integrations between Shopify, NetSuite ERP, and logistics and fulfilment platforms
- Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement
- Consult with stakeholders across sales, operations, supply chain, and management to gather, document and analyse functional and technical requirements Translate requirements into functional specifications, process maps, system designs and solution documentation Develop and maintain SOPs, business requirements documents, process maps and technical specifications Coordinate user acceptance testing, manage defect resolution, and validate solutions against agreed requirements Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery and post-implementation support
Process Improvement
- Identify operational inefficiencies through structured business process analysis and deliver measurable, documented improvements Support change management initiatives associated with system implementations and process redesign
Qualification & Experience Required:
- Must have completed year 12/High School.
- Minimum 5 years' experience as an ICT Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst or similar role Demonstrated hands-on experience working with NetSuite ERP — including inventory management, order processing, workflow configuration, reporting, and system integration
- Demonstrated experience independently designing, building and deploying a custom web-based business intelligence or reporting application currently in live production use — experience limited to configuration of existing off-the-shelf BI platforms will not meet this requirement
- Demonstrated experience working with Shopify ecommerce platform in a business analysis or operational systems capacity
- Strong skills in requirements gathering, business process mapping, functional specification development, and stakeholder management
- Experience preparing and maintaining functional specifications, integration documentation, process maps and UAT test plans
- Experience with system integration — connecting NetSuite ERP with ecommerce, sales, and logistics platforms
- Demonstrated ability to identify operational inefficiencies through structured analysis and deliver measurable process improvements with documented outcomes
- Ability to operate across the full solution delivery lifecycle — from stakeholder requirements through to independent production deployment and ongoing support Experience working within a product distribution, manufacturing, or technology hardware supply environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting data-driven findings to senior and executive stakeholders
Highly Desirable
- Experience with NetSuite SuiteFlow workflow automation and SuiteAnalytics reporting
- Hands-on experience developing and deploying web-based business intelligence applications using modern frameworks such as React and Firebase or equivalent technologies
- Demonstrated experience reducing operational discrepancies or inefficiencies through system analysis and targeted process improvement, with measurable and documented outcomes
- Direct Shopify ecommerce operational or systems experience Familiarity with the data centre, networking equipment, or technology hardware distribution sector
- Demonstrated operatIons experience across the full delivery lifecycle from business requirements through to independent production deployment
- Demonstrated hands-on business intelligence development and deployment capability along with experience building and deploying custom solutions
Pay: $85,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
