Sales Representative / Warehouse Team Member

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Sales Representative to join our growing business. We specialise in supplying tiles, natural stone, and construction materials to builders, contractors, and retail customers.
This is a hands-on role that combines customer service, sales, and warehouse responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with product selection and provide excellent customer service.
- Process sales and prepare quotations and orders.
- Load and unload tiles, stone, and construction materials safely.
- Operate a forklift to move and organise stock.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and ensure products are stored correctly.
- Work closely with the team to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
Essential Requirements
- Current forklift licence (essential).
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or the building materials industry is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically fit and capable of handling heavy products.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills.
- A current driver's licence is preferred.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to use sales, invoicing, and inventory management software.
Highly Desirable
- Experience in estimating quantities and preparing material take-offs for construction projects.
- Knowledge of and experience using construction estimating software is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in the tile, stone, or building materials industry will be highly regarded.
- Additional Benefits
- Candidates with estimating skills and experience using construction estimating software may be offered a higher starting salary, depending on experience. Performance-based bonuses and additional incentives may also be available for employees who take on estimating responsibilities.
