Trainer & Assessor – Wall and Floor Tiling

Rate: $55–$75 per hour (based on qualifications and industry experience)
Minimum Commitment: 14 hours per week
Schedule: Evening and weekend classes (Weekend rates applicable)

As our training programs continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Trainer and Assessor – Wall and Floor Tiling to join our team in Port Melbourne. You will deliver the CPC31320 Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling, mentoring students to build job-ready trade skills.
What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver engaging, practical, and industry-relevant training sessions.
- Assess student competency in accordance with training package requirements.
- Support and mentor students throughout their learning journey.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate training and assessment records.
- Contribute to quality training outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all assessments are conducted fairly, validly, and comply with ASQA regulations.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
Vocational Qualification: TAE40116 or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
Trade Qualification: Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling (or equivalent Australian recognized qualification).
Industry Experience: Minimum 2 to 5 years of recent, hands-on experience working as a Wall and Floor Tiler.
Compliance: Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and National Police Check.
Communication: Minimum 2 to 5 years of recent, hands-on experience working as a Wall and Floor Tiler.
