We are a fully private dermatology practice. Our services include general consults, biopsies, excisions, flap & graft repairs, UV therapy, biologic therapy, therapeutic Botox, chemical peels, and cosmetic injectables.
Nurses set up and assist the doctors in procedures, administer local anaesthetic at doctors instructions, perform chemical peels, attend post procedural dressings, removal of sutures, chronic wound/ulcer dressings, manage UVB patients, assist in cosmetic procedures, patient education in all diseases, answer telephone nurse enquiries, infection control and instrument sterilisation.
CPD via in-service, meetings, conferences is encouraged available throughout the year. We have industry reps provide us with regular disease and treatment updates, and maybe a spot of lunch.
We are potentially looking for two casual nurses.
We are needing an additional casual nurse to work on days when more than one doctor is open or other nurses are off on leave, sick/ annual/ other.
The practice pays by the Fair Work Nurses Award. The hourly rate will depend what pay-point you are at.
