About the opportunity
This role provides operational leadership and management to the Medical Records Scanning Unit team. This position is responsible for evaluating productivity and undertaking quality improvement audits to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and adhering to key performance indicators.
The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following:
Proven ability to operationally manage an administration service within a complex and diverse multidisciplinary environment, including a demonstrated ability to provide confident leadership and supervision skills in line with organisational policies relating to human resources, workplace health and safety, employment equity and anti-discrimination.
Proven ability to meet organisational objectives including organising and delegating work, solving day to day challenges, meeting deadlines and establishing priorities.
Ability to develop and implement processes to streamline workplace practices to create efficiencies with limited resources.
Demonstrated high level communication, consultation and negotiation skills in a challenging multidisciplinary environment.
Well-developed skills in the use of Microsoft Office applications, HBCIS, ieMR and other hospital specific software, which assist with the provision of administrative support to patient services.
Experience in the completion of quality improvement activities including review of appropriate workload indicators.

Salary range: $3586.00 - $3950.80 p.f. (AO4)
4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading
12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
