The Opportunity
Join our dynamic Industrial & Energy finance team, where you’ll play a role in delivering financial support services that drive operational excellence. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include preparing and analysing weekly and monthly financial and management reports, while collaborating closely with the Finance Manager and engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
This is a permanent, full-time position based at our Southbank office (3006).

What you'll be responsible for
Undertake financial analysis & variance reporting
Understand operational reasons contributing to performance
Assist in ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are accurate, complete and meet accounting standards
Assist in the development of management & compliance reporting
Undertake management reporting and support budget process
Maintain effective working relationships with personnel in the team and in other departments
Finalise the month end result with operation business partners and commercial manager
Review weekly contribution margin/contract profit margin
Over/under client cost reconciliation
Adhoc accounting tasks
What you'll need to be successful
CA/CPA qualifications or Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Finance, or equivalent and significant accounting experience
Demonstrated experience within an accounting or financial analyst position with skills gained in a large and complex business
Experience with SAP, TM1 And Excel is an advantage
