Job Description
Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of the simulation laboratory
-
Ensure all equipment and manikins are maintained and ready for use
-
Maintain a safe and compliant lab environment in line with regulatory requirements
-
Teach, support and assess students in the clinical simulation laboratory environment
-
Work collaboratively with the Laboratory Assistant to manage inventory, ordering, and stock control of lab equipment and consumables
-
Provide training and support to staff and students in the use of lab equipment
-
Supervise lab sessions and provide additional student support where needed
Qualifications
You will have:

Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent)

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)

Relevant experience in nursing, education, or simulation/lab coordination
-
Understanding of the VET sector and RTO compliance requirements

Familiarity with ANMAC standards and accreditation processes (highly desirable)

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
Confidence using technology, including Microsoft Office and LMS platforms
