The State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) within the Department of Customer Service (DCS) is looking for a Manager Supervision to join the Supervision (Employer & Provider) Directorate.
About Us
This is an exciting opportunity to work in our State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) that regulates three statutory insurance schemes in NSW.
This role is in our Supervision (Employer & Provider) Directorate which collaborates across both the Workers compensation and CTP schemes.

Supporting injured people to maximise their recovery, return to work and activity outcomes.

Holding employers to account with their workers compensation obligations.

Building employer compliance and capability.

Translating return to work evidence into best practice across system participants.

Establishing systems and practices to optimise recovery and return to work and activity for workers with an injury.

Supporting a talented, high-preforming group of people.
Your responsibilities will include:

Leading a team holding employers to account with their workers compensation obligations.

Liaising with key stakeholders including SafeWork NSW, employer groups and unions.

Working effectively in the Supervision (Employer & Provider) leadership team.

Oversight of key projects in the Employer Supervision strategy to improve customer experience and outcomes.
About you:

Flexible, adaptable, and high levels of collaboration.

Knowledge and understanding of workers compensation or other employer focused legislation, best practice, and guidelines.

Strong decision making and critical thinking skills.

Strong communication skills (written and verbal).

Ability to manage competing priorities and meet project guidelines.

Salary Grade 11/12, with the base salary for this role starting at $154231 base plus superannuation
