About the Team
Our national Insurance & Health practice combines deep industry knowledge with local expertise and the highest standards of client service. Our team of more than 300 specialist lawyers has the depth of experience and agility to help our clients, both in Australia and overseas, to navigate the complex risk landscape and support their insureds.
About the Role
We are seeking a Graduate to join our Insurance & Health practice in Melbourne, commencing in January 2027.
Through our structured 12-month Graduate Program, you will complete two six-month rotations across our Melbourne insurance teams, gaining hands-on experience in a broad range of defendant insurance matters, including personal injury, property liability, financial lines, medical negligence, and employment practices liability.
You will be supported every step of the way through structured mentoring, regular professional development sessions, and the opportunity to undertake a pro bono secondment. While working full-time with us, you will complete your Practical Legal Training (PLT) on a part-time basis, with BN covering the cost of the course.
Working alongside leading specialists in their fields, you will be mentored by senior practitioners and Principals who are genuinely invested in your development and committed to helping you succeed in practice and to grow your careers within the firm. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to diverse practice areas, develop your legal, commercial and professional skills, and establish strong foundations for a long-term career in insurance law.
About You
